How do you scrunch straight hair without having to buy curlers? But i have a curling iron and hairspray!?
Get it wet, and then scrunch it up in your hand. While scrunched spray hairspray. Let dry. Works great.

Buy Umberto Giannini's curl friends scrunching jelly - it will make your hair curly/wavy, and never crispy like mousse does.

Try rag curls
-The only item that you will need is a bag of rags. An old sheet works quite nicely for this.
-Cut the rags into long strips about 1 inch in width. The width will determine the size of the curls. The length can be anywhere from 6 inches to 18 inches long depending on the lenght of your hair. You will likely need about 50 strips for a complete head of hair.
-Allow sufficient time for this procedure. It isn't something you can do in 5 minutes, but the more often you do it, the faster you will get.
-Allow hair to dry about 90 percent.
-Divide hair into the manageable sections and then place the rag next to the first length of hair. Begin winding the hair around the rag as neatly as you can. *Neatness really counts here.* Now tie the ends together in a knot... tight enough to hold the curl in place, but loose enough to be able to remove when hair is dry.
-Choose your next section of hair and repeat the step above, winding the hair in the same direction.
-Arrange rows of rag curls neatly across the scalp.
-When the hair is dry, carefully remove the rags and use your fingers to loosen the curl if necessary.
Tips to Remember
*This procedure becomes easier with practice.
*Neatness is extremely important when winding up the hair or the style will look messy.
*The ends of the hair should never be visible.
You can make the sections as large or as small as you like - large sections (more hair) in each section will make waves. Small sections (less hair) will make baby ringlets - take it easy, or you'll just end up with frizz!
