I truthfully have no Idea why you would want to but I would say no,all that stuff is going to damage your hair and will never give you the result of looking like you have afro, not any normal looking one anyway

Yes. Wash and condition ...apply gel and part and separate small square sections of hair and roll using very small rollers.

Let it dry on its own or use a heat cap dryer that you can purchase from the beauty supply store.
