i had the same problem. I used to have pencil straight and glossy hair but it turned very wavy and frizzy when i reached puberty.
I've read that it is caused by hormonal changes.
Whatever it is, well cant change the fact. I find that perming into a totally different style helps. Add serums. or leave-in conditioners (not the heavy types, mind u). regular treatments, n if possible, protect your hair from direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
I used to have really straight hair when i was like 4 and now i have this really frizzy hair, what can i do?
Look for a do where the frizziness doesn't matter, such as wearing it quite short.

Use a ceramic flat iron, I do. I have super curly and frizzy hair and I use one. Be sure to get a product that protects your hair and put it on before using the flat iron.

Well maybe you should try some hair straightening shampoos
Like sun silk for example they sell it at the basic department store. They have the shampoo, conditioner, and 24/7 creme, it comes in the purple or lavender bottle and it helps to take out kinks, waves, etc.
I love it :)

I got this suggestion from my tattoo artist (odd I know) He said to put a small amount of a good conditioner straight into my hand and rub my hands together and put it lightley through my dry hair and leave it in...It works well.
