I prefer straight hair. What makes a girl hot?...the way she carries herself, outgoing, her smile, honesty, her laugh, her caring sense; all the traits my wife possess'

Depends on the guy,

but most don't really care.

And most guys like a curvy but skinny girl, cute face, kind, funny, smart.

I can only do the first question because this is what I've been told numerous times: guys like whatever flatters you most, but they like to be able to run their fingers through your hair, so not too much hairspray/gel/product.
