Actually, my friend uses an iron. Her hair is really curly so straightners don't really work. She has long hair though so it's probably easier for her not to burn herself. She lays her hair down on a bed or ironing board, puts a towel over it to protect it and irons it with the iron. You could try that.

You have to take a shower, use conditioner, and comb it with a comb. That should keep it straight all day, as long as you don't mess it up when it's drying.

I would try taking a shower. Dont dry your hair. Let it air-dry. Then in about 5 minutes comb it. Then after you do that spray hair-spray in it.....then keep doing this until it is as straight as you would like it to be.
