I like both. There are different assets to each. Curly is very pretty, butit is a pain to deal with. It gets frizzy often, and theres not much you can do with it. Straight hair is sleek and sexy, but you can't have it simply curled within seconds. You can straighten curly hair, or curl straight hair, it just takes a while. and DONT EVER GET A PERM. they are awful.
