you could buy a home perming kit and have a go yourself but I wouldn't recommend it. If a hairdresser is too expensive why not get some rollers and try a semi permanent to see if you actually suit/like your hair curly before taking the plunge - good luck

go to the local hairdressing college you will get a perm alot cheaper than in a proper salon and help someone get their qualification.

Getting a perm can damage your hair terribly! my advice is to if you want your hair to be extra curly curl your hair, also you could just get a special shampoo to make your hair curlier.

well honestly a temporary would do but i suggest love your straight hair trust me , after perming youll love it only for a month and regret u did get one, the split ends and drying comes next:(
