I have straight hair and I got a perm once. I liked it. I got soft wavy curls. If I got bored with it, I straightened it out. No biggie... Hair is hair.

Don't do it. I did years ago it looked good for awhile, but my hair is just not the same.

Personally, I wouldn't, because a perm is VERY damaging to the hair. It's even more damaging than coloring your hair. Plus, I think that straight hair is more versatile. You can make it crimpy, or wavy, or really curly with just some patience, products, and tools. It's unsafe and damaging to straighten or loosen a perm.

NO! it's better to just find an efficient way to curl it. curly hair is not "in" and it takes a lot of work to make a perm look good. plus it will grow out and look terrible.

I have curly hair and I tried to Straighten it once and I amlost lost it all. If you are under thirty chances are you will not like yourself for some time Then again some people never learn to love themselves or appreciate what they have been given. DO a little color something nice a haircut maybe but dont mess with the texture you will only ruin it and regret it!

Depending on the shape of your face and also the volume of your hair. If your hair is little and your face is long, then cut and perm it would make you look better becos it will add more body to the hair and your face. On the other hand,if you have a round face, then having straight hair would make you look better.Go see a hairstylist, he/she will be able to advise you better.

If you really want to, you can but remember there are consequences. Your hair might fall out, you actually might look ugly and then regret it. A perm might look great on you. I would say no because a perm wouldn't last forever.

NO!!!!!!! IM BLACK AND WE USE PERMS TO STRAIGHTEN OUR HAIR. STRAIGHT HAIR IS A GIFT BECAUSE NOT EVERYONE HAS THE JOY OF HAVING STRAIGHT HAIR. WE HAVE TO TORTURE OUR HAIR TO GET IT STRAIGHT. AND IN THE END OUR HAIR IS DAMAGED
