I would use a tad of real coconut oil while your hair is still wet! just put it from the base of your neck down... for the most part and, be careful not to use too much! this may not totally stop the wave but it will forsure heal the frizz, and you will love using coconut oil........get it at wholefoods or a healtfood store and btw, you can use it for everything including tanning! you will love it!

My niece has this problem, she's Asian/Puerto Rican... so you could probably imagine... lol

I advised her to do this...

1- Wash hair with a frizz shampoo/conditioner (Sunsilk has a good one) and apply a lot to the ENDS of your hair.

2- While your hair is still wet, apply a frizz cream (Sunsilk also has a good one of these, or you can use Frizz-Ease)

3- Blow dry your hair with a paddle brush to smoothen it out...

4- This is optional, but WHILE you flat iron each section, spray a heat protectant spray to make your hair less prone to breaking...

5- Then part your hair into 4 sections, and start flat ironing each sections piece, by piece...

Good Luck!
