One thing I seem to have learned over the years is this: those that have straight hair, want curly or wavy hair... and those with curly and wavy hair, want straight hair. My hair is wavy, and I do everything I can to straighten it without damaging it but, it's to no avail. I'm stuck with it. If I weren't so attached to having long hair, I'd do something chemical to straighten it. Just try a shampoo that will put waves in your hair, or make it curly. Something's bound to work.
