Have it cut with long layers and undercut in the back. Mousse it when wet. Blow dry upside down until damp and then use a large round brush on the layers for body. Use volumizing shampoo and don't over condition. For biggish hair, place large velcro rollers in the top layers close to your head when hair is damp. Blow dry and use the big, round brush on the bottom layers.

Use a volumizing shampoo and conditioner, some pepole put curlers in then brush them out, a quicker way is to use a blow dryer and curl brush.

1. Change your shampoo/conditioner. Get something light like Dove (the foaming conditioner). If your products put weight on your hair it'll be harder to get body
2. Don't wash before you curl. Dirty hair holds curls, waves, etc. better!!!
3. don't put on too many styling products. Just some light hairspray or really light leave-in-conditioner is sufficient
4. Possibly a haircut...longer hair stays straighter
5. Sleep with rollers, this will help and is safer than curling irons
GOOD LUCK!! -kiki

Use Garnier Fructis Body and Volume Shampoo/Conditioner. Then towel-dry hair for about 5-10 minutes. Then apply Garnier volumizing mousse. Flip your head and blow-dry hair upside down until completely dry. I normally straighten my hair after this but you already have straight hair! You can also try putting your hair in big, loose rollers.
