No. You'll have really poofy hair that looks similar to a fro, but not a real fro, sorry. Plus, it will just get straight again once you wash it (unless ur black). If you are black and have permed hair, try going a long time w/out getting a touch-up and then cut off the permed hair (leaving the roots). You will have a mini fro, and grow it out as big as you want.

No the braids will make ur hair look crimpy.

some people try to acheive that look though..wash it, put setting lotion in it, %26amp; have it braided so that when it dries they can take the braids out %26amp; wear that style
