I have straight hair, how to make wave?

I have very straight hair, too, and this is how I add waves to it.

I get out of the shower %26amp; towel-dry my hair. I then apply Herbal Essences Totally Twisted Curl-Boosting Mousse (tall purple bottle, about $2.50 at drugstores) throughout my hair. I then wrap it in a bun and let it airdry or dry it with a blowdryer still in the bun. I then let it down and I have waves!

I havent done this in years, but a friend taught me, and i think it worked pretty well

after you take a shower and dry your hair, but then keep it a little damp, then put most of your hair in braids and sleep w/ them in. in the morning, take it out
