I have straight hair, but now it has gotten thicker. What can I do?

I cut it a while ago, but it did not work. It is always thick and kind of curly and freezed somehow. Please help me.

I say leave it down and gel it nicely or put it in a low pony tail. Don't get it chemically treated or anything; you might regret it later. I wish my hair would become thicker! Good luck and I wish you the best.

Next time you get it cut, have some long layers put in. This will remove excess bulk. If you're having problems with frizz, don't let them use thinnning shears as this will make it worse. Proper use with a texturizing razor will thin it out, but this depends greatly on the talents of the stylist you choose.

They have thinning shampoos and conditioners. But be sure you want to use them because my mom use tem before and her hair never thickened back up. And now that she's older the thicker the hair is better. Your hair often thins the older you get.

It's nice to have thick hair! But if you don't want it thick... Straighten it, i know you say it is straight, but it thins it out to. Also you can get your hair dresser to thin it out. However, you could emphasise your thick hair by using some products to smooth it down. I love ganier fructis curl and shine creme, it'll make your hair soft with nice curls/waves (depending on the lentgh of your hair) I hope i have helped :D xXxXxXxXxXxXx

Just because your hair is thick doesn't mean it has to be frizzy and vice versa. Here's what I do to fight the friz. Use anti-friz products like Paul Mitchell's Smoothing Shampoo and Daily Treatment in the shower, and then get some sort of anti-friz serum (again, I prefer Paul Mitchell's Smooth line of products) and apply to the ends of your hair. Watch out not to get it on your roots or your hair might be oily. Blow dry straight with a big round brush on the coolest setting possible and then run a really hot flat iron over it. You can also get a conditioning treatment from your hair stylist every so often. They usually cost less than $10 bucks.

You can get Pual Mitchell's products at most salons. The Stregnth line helped to repair some damage and now I use the Smooth. Here's a link to the stuff I like.

Just have your stylist thin your hair with their thinning shears. This will take alot of weight off with out permanently remove the hair.
