i spent $1,500 on a class for straightening system (includes chemicals and all). i was sooooooooo excited about it.
IT'S HORRIBLE
makes your hair feel like snot and looks funny growing out. if you want to love your hair DON'T DO IT
it was however worth the $$$ to let people know how bad it is.
Has anyone had permanent straight hair at a salon? If so are the results great? How long does it last?
Depends on your hair itself! If you have really really curly hair, getting it striaght as a board wont work. If its just curly or wavy, then you have a change. I have curly hair and striaghtened it myself at home, and it works great. It last awhile, it depends on how fast your hair grows too. If it takes a long time for it to grow, then it will last longer. My hair takes 6 months to grow 3 inch, and so it last a long time. The only thing is that it damages your hair really badly. What it is doing is stripping your hair casuing it to be more fragle. Its something that you dont want to do all the time. Using an iron for your hair is also bad too, if you use it to much.

Hair straightning on naturally curly hair needs to be done atleast 2wice a year if ur trying it out for the first time. Later u can use a blow dryer to maintain it.
Beware Damage to hair which is guaranteed.
I suggest you straighten your hair on ocassions using a dryer and shock everyone around you and look natural and casual on the other days. What do you say?

Yes i have had my hair straighted my a salon and the results turned out great. Your results depend on what your hair type in like. My hair was wavy in some parts so it make my hair super straight, but if your hair is very curly then it will soften you curls in to waves. My straightening lasted a good 3-6 months.
