My 4 yr old wants curly hair hers is straight also so we are going to get it permed seeing as she actually prefers a comb or pick.

When I was younger (about 8-10), my hair was stick-straight and I begged and begged my mom to let me get a perm. Now that I am older and my hair has developed a natural wave, or even curl, I wish I had straight hair again. The grass is always greener on the other side. But I think straight hair is easier to curl than curly hair is to straighten, so straight hair wins in my book.
