I have straight hair and I prefer it when it's permed but I hate using a pick or wide toothed comb I have to have my trusty brush. So perms don't last long.

It seems that a lot of people want a different kind of hair than what they already have. When I was younger (about 8-10), my hair was stick-straight and I begged and begged my mom to let me get a perm. Now that I am older and my hair has developed a natural wave, or even curl, I wish I had straight hair again. The grass is always greener on the other side. But I think straight hair is easier to curl than curly hair is to straighten, so straight hair wins in my book.
